The Shogran Valley's native languages are Hindko and Gojri, but everyone there speaks and understands Urdu. The residents of Shogran Valley are calm and kind, and they are eager to welcome guests. They greet visitors with warmth and treat them as if they were their own friends. People, however, put on warm clothing due to the freezing night temperatures. Shalwar Qameez is the traditional attire of the inhabitants of Shogran Valley. A dupatta is also worn by women. Turbans are also worn by the aged in society. However, this valley's inhabitants are tall and powerful.
Women are mostly housewives who stay at home. There is only one government primary school, which some of the local children attend. Aside from that, there was no educational system in place. The majority of youths worked as tour guides and shopkeepers with their fathers, uncles, and other relatives. Tourists are their primary source of income, and they work as restaurant workers, resthouse managers, tour guides, shopkeepers, and jeep drivers; some also farm crops, and some are shepherds. But their whole fortune is just gathered up in the summer season as the entire area is covered in snow during the winter months, forcing them to relocate to Mansehra or another warmer location. As a result, prices are slightly higher over there.
Dry fruits and handicrafts are the two primary products of Shogran Valley. The skillfully carved Walnuts are one of the handicrafts you should acquire, and the Namdas, or woolen felt carpets, embroidered shawls, woolen shawls, and shirts are another popular item that is available here.
