Shahi Masjid is another attraction in Chiniot. It was constructed by Nawab Saad Ullah Khan during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan (1628–58). It is stated that due to its wooden interior and artwork, it is a duplicate of Mughal monuments in the region such as Jamia Masjid Delhi, Delhi Fort, and Lal Qila Fort in India. The outside facades are noted by their elaborate embellishment and four corner towers.
