Gwadar (Balochi/Urdu: گوادر) is a port city on the southwestern coast of Balochistan, Pakistan. The city is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea opposite Oman. Gwadar was an overseas possession of Oman from 1783 to 1958.[2] It is about 120 km (75 mi) southwest of Turbat, while the sister port city of Chabahar in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province is about 170 km (110 mi) to the west of Gwadar. The main industrial concern is a fish-processing factory; salt is obtained by the evaporation of seawater. Gwadar became part of the sultanate of Muscat and Oman in 1797, and it was not until 1958 that the town and adjoining hinterland were exchanged from Oman to Pakistan.
Hammerhead

Near the cities of Gwadar and Ormara, there are two hammerhead-shaped peninsulas that are one of the most striking aspects of the Makran Coast. This rock formation, which resembles a hammerhead whale, was formed when a mud volcano erupted. The majority of the rocks in the Gwadar district were formed by these volcanoes' eruptions. On its southern side, Hammerhead offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea, while on its northern side, it offers a breathtaking view of the city of Gwadar.

It's also the biggest island in Pakistan, and it's the best example of the beauty of Balochistan that people don't see. It is pretty far away from other places, which adds to its beauty. Here, you can camp, go scuba diving, and fishing. Indeed, a great place for tourists to visit.

People have the misconception that the structure was created by humans, but history asserts that it was cut in the same manner as the sphinx and the hammerhead, namely, by the eruption of the Mud Mountains that covered the regions. It has the appearance of an ancient female statue and is particularly fascinating to view owing to its enormous size and the fact that it appears to have been constructed by man.
