Hunza

Beautiful Hunza Valley, is a mountainous valley in the autonomous Gilgit-Baltistan.

Hunza is a mountainous valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Hunza is situated at the bank of Hunza river in the northern part of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, bordering with Ishkoman to the northwest, Shigar to the southeast, Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor to north, and the Xinjiang region of China to the northeast. The Hunza Valley is situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters (7,999 feet). Geographically, Hunza consists of three regions: Upper Hunza (Gojal), Central Hunza and Lower Hunza.

Attabad Lake

Attabad Lake is located in Shiskat Valley in Hunza and it is 30 minutes drive from Karimabad Hunza.

Gojal Valley

Gojal, also called Upper Hunza, is situated in the far north of Pakistan.

Hunza's Gojal valley is renowned for its lakes. It borders Afghanistan at the Chapursan valley and China at the Khunjerab Pass. On the other hand, Attabad lake is also situated in Gojal Valley. This lake was made when a huge landslide in 2010 blocked the flow of water in the Hunza River, causing it to back up. Now, it is a well-known place for tourists to visit and have a picnic. Duikar Valley

Duikar or Duiker is a settlement in Hunza Valley, Gilgit Baltistan. It lies above Altit village, 700 Meters higher than the valley floor.

Duikar Valley is a well-known viewpoint and is often referred to as Eagle's Nest. Tourists can see beautiful views of the Hunza River and the Karakoram Highway as they drive through Duikar. Duikar is situated above sea level so it has turned into a famous landmark. It also features the breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and the Golden Peak, but people come from all over the world just to see the sunrise and sunset in Duikar.

Ondra Fort, Gulmit

Ondra fort is located on a 25 min hike from Gulmit. It is situated near Tara Homestay, and close to Old House Gulmit.

The Ondra Fort is a stunning landmark that visitors to Hunza should not miss. Those who are more active should go to the location of Ondra Fort Gulmit and go to Borith lake across the Ghulkin/black Glacier (three hours trip including a hike of 25 minutes). Ondra Fort Gulmit is a must-see for anyone planning a trip to Hunza. It is one of the most interesting places to visit.

Hussani Bridge

Hussaini bridge is located in Hunza, Pakistan. It is stretched out to 1km, and locals use it to connect to the village located on the other side.

Hussani Bridge is located 30 mins drive from Attabad lake. From one end to the other end of the bridge Hussani Bridge consists of 400 steps. Although it is secure and risk-free, some individuals find the bridge to be terrifying. Borith Lake

Borith Lake is located 30 minutes drive from Attabad lake.

Rush Lake

Rush Lake is a high-altitude lake located in Nagar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan near Rush Pari Peak, 5,098 m (16,726 ft).

Rush Lake provides an additional breathtaking panorama of the Hunza Nagar Valley. The Nagar Valley is often regarded as being among the most beautiful valleys in the country. Most significantly, you will never discover great colors in Wadi Nagar, as this location is unparalleled in its beauty. The altitude of this highland lake is approximately 4,669 meters. Surrounded by lakes, the enormous mountains are Pakistan's tallest lakes.

Passu Cones

Passu is a small village located near Gulmit in the Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan region of Northern Pakistan.

In Hunza Valley, Pass Cones is the most scenic and lovely tourist spot to visit because of its proximity to Attabad lake, which is only a half-hour drive away. The summits of pass Cones, which are jagged, have a particularly appealing appearance. Hunza's Passu is a tranquil town that is surrounded on all sides by breathtaking mountains and has a river running right through the middle of it. The glacier and its river can be found here. Pass is a wonderful location for going for walks, treks, hikes, and taking photographs.
