This valley is home to a variety of cultural activities, which Hunza residents love to celebrate. Traditional dancing is popular among people of all ages, and there is even a dedicated traditional band for it, making it even more enjoyable and fascinating. People of three ethnic groups mostly inhabit the Hunza region: (1) The Shinaki people, who speak Shina, inhabit the Lower Hunza region, which extends from Nasirabad to Khizerabad. (2) Burushaski speakers dominate the Central Hunza region, which extends from Attabad to Murtazaabad. (3)The Gojal region of Upper Hunza, which extends from Khunjerab to Shiskat, is home to Wakhi speakers.
Just like the valley is famed for its outstanding view, Hunza's inhabitants are warm-hearted and famous for their hospitality. Despite the fact that Burushaski is the most generally spoken language, the majority of people can also communicate in English and Urdu. Hunza's weather is pleasant from April to September, necessitating the use of light woolen clothing. During the winter, though, heavier woolen clothing is necessary. The ladies, in particular, wear colorful knee-length dresses with shalwars and traditional embroidered hats to protect their heads. Shalwar Kameez is the most prevalent men's attire, and hats are made of hand-woven woolen material called 'Pattu.' They wear flowy embroidered dresses as overcoats in the winter.
