Culture and history
Gujars make up the majority of the population in the Naran-Kaghan valley in KPK. As a result, the majority of Naran-Kaghan region residents speak Hindko and Gojri. However, they are fluent in Urdu and can communicate in it. They are really nice, welcoming, and generous. From the bottom of their hearts, they greet visitors and travelers. Resthouse managers, tour guides, merchants, and jeep drivers are among their major sources of income; others also farm crops, and some are shepherds.
The inhabitants of this valley are tall and powerful. Males' average height is around 5.8' or 5.9'. Women are primarily housewives who stay at home. Salwar Kameez with wide bottom salwaars is the traditional attire of people in the Naran-Kaghan Valley. A dupatta is worn by women as well. Turbans are frequently worn by aged people. Furthermore, people have set up home-based small enterprises to produce handicrafts. These accessories are then marketed in KPK's Naran-Kaghan Valley's major bazaar.
The residents of Kaghan Valley are nomads, which means they move around depending on the weather. They are extremely diligent, brave, and live a difficult lifestyle. Above all, they can withstand severe weather. In terms of education, the region is underdeveloped. Only a few schools offer education to youngsters. However, there are no colleges or institutions in close surroundings. As a result, most adults work at their dads' and uncles' shops, among other places.
