Culture and history
It's one of the most stunning and heavenly spots on the planet. It is rich in history, ancient culture, civilization, and, most significantly, scenic beauty. Sharda's inhabitants are simple, honest, and devoted to their homeland. This area's culture is similar to that of Punjab's neighboring region. People here generally follow a Punjabi culture. Although English is the official language, Urdu is widely spoken and understood. Kashmiri, Pahari, and Hindko are the languages spoken by the locals. Punjabi and Pashto are also spoken by a small number of individuals.
These valleys' men and women both wear traditional Shalwar Kameez. Men usually wear a weskit in the summer since the temperature is nice and cool, and in the winter, sweaters and regular coats are used. The Shalwar Kameez is also worn by women, and you won't see a single lady in tight jeans or a t-shirt. Women in these areas prefer to hide their faces as well, and almost all of them wear a Burka or, if that isn't possible, they must cover themselves with a dupatta.
Carpet, Namda, and Gubba are just a few of the handicrafts made by the people of this valley. Silk Woolen Clothing is very well-known. Shawls made of wool are very popular. They can also carve wood and make rugs, in addition to all of these skills. “Gushtaba”, for example, is a popular dish in the area. The Kashmiris adore this dish, and it is one of their favorites. Locals eat rice a lot. They don't consider a lunch or meal complete without rice. “Tabak Maaz” is another popular dish in this region, and its preparation is considered an art form and a source of pride in Kashmiri culture.
